When in Miami this past Labor Day weekend we had the pleasure of dinning at Pao by Paul Qui, in the Faena Hotel on Miami Beach.
The Top Chef winner’s restaurant is beautiful and has a $6 million gold unicorn statue centered in the dining room. We decided to go big and get the tasting menu and let me tell you it was such an experience. We dinned on items such as salmon butter, which is titled like this by the way the salmon melts in your mouth, or “Unicorn” which is a dish the restaurant is known for that features sea urchin. The list goes on and on—beef tartare and whole fish. Everything was amazing and we were beyond full by the end. We were served nine dishes plus dessert; two of those were main courses all totaling at $95 per person. I would say it is 100 percent worth it!
The following day we were so happy with our meal we were “flipping out.”
